Don't understand how the st count in this pattern

I’m working on this pattern with a 2 years size. I can’t understand how this row end up with 84 st.

From the instruction k10＋k2tog＋5th row of chart 2 3times＋k10
That will be 10+1+(22×3)＋10=87
How did it end up with 84st from the instruction？

Check the key for the chart. The end of the 22stitch chart repeat has a decrease of one stitch. Repeated 3 times gives you a decrease of 3sts.
