Dog Sweater

Hi there,

I am starting a dog sweater and seemed to be stuck in

Inc 1 st each side every other row 5 times-82 sts.

The pattern I am making is the WR2036 orange dog sweater from the red heart pattern.

I am at a row with 72 sts now and am not sure if it would be as follow, for each row including an additional st in each row.
I’m lost, beacuse this would make it 9 more times doubled and not 5 times. Can anyone help please?

You have to increase at [I]each end[/I] of the row, so you’ll be increase 2 stitches at a time.

Ingrid is right, increase two stitches, one at each end of a row, then a plain row, 5 times, which would be a total of 10 stitches increase.
Good luck with your dog sweater. I have been making dog (and cat) sweaters and selling them at work. So many people want to keep their pets comfy!
