Its about 230 yds and i would use a 4.5 mm needles. I’ve looked all over ralvery and found nothing. I’ve got 1 skein so nothing huge.
Does anybody have any ideas of what I should knit w/ this yarn?
What yarn is it? What fiber(s)?
It’s 98% acrylic and 2% metallic
I think a beanie would look great in those colours.
Do you already have a top/sweater in his yarn? If so then accessories might be an idea. A neck warmer or cowl which can change the shape/look of the sweater, wrist warmers, mini shawl/neckerchief, hat or hood.
I used left over yarn to make a fitted neck warmer to go with a round neck top so it can kind of change into a turtleneck look. I want a loose flowy, drapey type cowl to go with another sweater I made which I’d prob make on bigger needles to make it drape and fold.
I haven’t made this but its an example of a separate cowl worn with a sweater and looks all in one but they are separate, I think it’s a good option if you live somewhere cold.
Or if you are somewhere warmer and don’t want a full on cowl and like to wear light jackets or cardigans then these mini shawl designs look good with an open neck jacket
In the loop has single skein patterns. This is for cowls🧶

Thank You All!!
I will probably do some sort of cowl. For the drops designs patterns, is there a way you can knit just the hood?
Here is a pattern search for hoods. I did include up to 300 yds.

Yes, although it’s actually a cowl worn like a hood . Use the link to get the free pattern, scroll down to near the end of the pattern to the direction of “loose neck”. You’ll see it never gets attached, the sweater already has a finished neckline in "assembly " where the neckband is done. So the loose neck is an accessory.
There are lots of cowls on drops and ravelry, but perhaps you’ll find an actual hood you prefer in the results GG posted.
That is very pretty I can see why you’d want to be sure and use it.
Do you know entrelac stitch? I knit this with a variegated yarn like yours in cravats and small scarves, looks very pretty
you can make a hat or a scarf would look great in those colours
