Or is it just my imagination?
What have you noticed that makes you think that?
Hard to describe really, but some new members posting for the first time, no blatant advert but either a short sort of empty encouragement which doesnât quite make sense or a long post going into detail to âanswerâ a question but seems to be regurgitating lines from previous posts on the thread, or regurgitating things that are on the web.
Bots and spammers tend to get an advert in, either blatant or a link half hidden in some other text but now there seems to be posts which have neither and yet donât feel like real new members.
Iâd spotted a couple of these. Also they tend to be âmembersâ who only joined the forum a few minutes before they post these types of replies.
Yep. Sometimes real people spammers will get in with a post that has no advert but then go on the ad spam on a number of threads and itâs obvious they are advertising. But the AI are not advertising. Youâre right they have just joined, the tone doesnât ring true.
The forum is watching.
Maybe we can get 2 AI to talk to each other both offering bland comment and random advice back and forth. Iâd like to see their WIPs.
Itâs getting harder to tell the difference between A.I. and real people. I wonder how it will be 2 years from now?
I have to wonder what the ultimate goal is. I know there are multiple uses but theyâre not all good, or beneficial.
Good idea. Someone can get a third AI to set it up, maybe.
Iâd been noticing those posts. They donât quite sound like human knitterâs posts, to me.
