Divot, saucer, half a ball?

dummy me I saw a yarn swatch at the LYS one town over that was done in NORO fairly large size it was in a varigated yarn but also had a stitch pattern of sorts.
It looked like a round divot on one side and of course a round bulge on the other about the diameter of a golf ball. I have looked but since I don’t know what it is called have not had any success.

Now I want to use that look into a WIP, help

There is a scarf here, Boobie Scarf, that has that effect through it.

That’s the effect Awesome now I just have to figure out the math and placement to work it into my scarf
