Discount codes

Thanks to @GrumpyGramma. You provided me with the link for knit picks discount code several months ago and since it worked then I’ve used it again. Now I’ve copied link and stored it. I was working on a swatch and just wasn’t happy with the feel. I had previously done the same sweater in children’s and now doing an adult one. The last one was merino by drops and I liked the drape so did some searching and found a worsted weight yarn (wool of the Andes) by knit picks. The one in the pattern has been discontinued. I am learning not all worsted weight will be the same. The stitch per inch same and needle size in the range for this also, so I think I’m on the right track. Also both merino so this should work. So thanks, don’t mind saving a few dollars when I can.

I often search for discount codes. Sometimes I find a good one.

That’s wonderful to hear! It’s great that the Knit Picks discount code proved useful again, and it sounds like you’re mastering the peryourhealth payment nuances of yarn substitution, learning that even yarns of the same weight and fiber can have different feels. Finding a suitable “Wool of the Andes” yarn for your adult sweater, especially since the original was discontinued, and saving money in the process, is a perfect win-win for your project.

You’re very welcome! I’m so glad the discount link came in handy again — it’s always a win when we can save a few dollars on quality yarn. It sounds like you’re putting a lot of care and thought into your project, and you’re absolutely right — not all worsted weight yarns are created equal, even when they’re both merino. The drape and feel can vary depending on the brand and fiber treatment. Wool of the Andes is a solid pick, and it’s great that you’re exploring options that match your needs.
