I have a pattern for a tank top that is knitted in the round. The pattern says to decrease 1 stitch before and after each side marker, every 16th round 2 times. My questions is should I decrease using k2tog, ssk, or a combination of the two? The pattern does not specify which to use.
:?? I usually use k2tog if it does not specify …
The K2tog is a right slanting decrease and the SSK is a left slanting decrease. If it was me, and the pattern didn’t specify, I’d do a SSK before the marker and a K2tog after the marker. Then all of the decreases will be slanting towards the side ‘seam’.
Thank you
