Welcome to KH!
It’s such a lovely gift for your neighbor’s new baby.
What is the name of your pattern and designer, and which size are you making?
You’re going to be shaping the raglan at the same time as the front edge of the sweater. Call the next row, row 1 and then decrease at the raglan edge on rows 1,5,9,13,17,21, and so on. At the same time decrease at the front edge on the 5th row following the last dec at the front. Let’s say that’s row 5 (for several of the sizes) after the last dec so that you would then dec on rows 5,10,15,20,25, etc.
Keep decreasing at each edge until you reach the given stitch number for your size.
Glad you’re enjoying knitting and working on what will be a much appreciated gift.
Beautifully knit. It’s darling to see those tiny cardigans but so much better to knit the larger size. The baby gets to wear it longer, and it’s seen and admired longer. Well done!
So sorry. I was so excited to get your email I forgot to say Thank You:exploding_head:. I had been checking my emails every hour:face_with_hand_over_mouth:. I’ve done my tick list. You can guess what I’m doing this afternoon ![]()
