Anyone knitted with this yarn before? I’m having a hard time finding this locally. Would you happen to know what I may substitute that would be similar in type of yarn?

Mmm, very nice. It’s a super bulky yarn, ~10sts/4 inches and you can find it described on Ravelry. There are some subsitutes here at Webs and you could search other online yarn stores for similar composition and weight yarns.
