This bunny was a lot easier than the bears I knitted. The head was only 1 piece. For the bears, the head was 4 pieces! This particular pattern is from the Spring/Summer 09 issue of the Debbie Bliss magazine. He is about 7 inches tall. I saw the magazine online at Yarnmarket.com, but I got mine at Barnes and Nobel. I whipped up this little guy in a weekend as a gift for one of the secretaries at my school. (For anyone who is wondering, I’m a second grade teacher and just a really fast knitter!)

Too cute! I just got a library card (we recently moved to a new state!) and checked out [I]Last Minute Knitted Gifts[/I] by Joelle Hoverson. There are patterns for for a Rabbit, Bear and Elephant that are adorable and I am dying to make (even though I don’t really have anyone to make them for!) Now that I worked something in the round, I feel like I can tackle them!
