Debbie Bliss baby jacket with seed stitch bands

Hi Everyone, I’m new to this forum and hope someone has come across the same pattern issue in Baby Knits for Beginners by Debbie Bliss and can help me.
The baby jacket with seed stitch bands that I’m making has a round neck but the pattern creates a very short body with a really long neckline, almost as though it’s for a deep v-neckline.
I may be working from an early pattern that has later corrections but it seems that Ms Bliss doesn’t have online corrections?
Has anyone had the same problem and found the corrections?

The sweater seems to fit pretty well judging from the project photos. That said there are similar complaints on the projects page about the length.

The neckband will close up the neckline a bit but if you’re concerned, you could start the neck bind off later on the fronts.

There is a note for some Debbie Bliss books at the bottom of the errata page for Trafalgar Books:
" Debbie Bliss no long makes her pattern corrections accessible online. Please email a request to Love Crafts at info@lovecrafts.com."
You might get in touch with them to check on your version of the pattern.

I did get a response from LoveCrafts and it turned out to be User Error!:woman_facepalming:t4:

I had misread the pattern as Repeat the last row (X) times instead of Repeat the last TWO rows (X) times :worried:

I’m back on track now and the jacket will be lovely :blush:
