Dear Kblue

I can’t do it. I can’t make you wait.
I have been teasing you and teasing you and tempting fate.
Your package is on its way, won’t be long now.
You’re staying so patient, but I don’t know how!
If I were you I’d be pacing the floor
Listening for the postman at the door!
I’d wonder and wish and beg to find out
Whats in my box, to erase all doubt.
I should have mercy and show you a bit
Of the goodies in your box that you may get.
If you would like it to remain a surprise
Then don’t scroll down! Cover your eyes!

I found a sale and got such a deal
Couldn’t pass it up, it was a steal!
40,000 yards of mohair-but don’t make a stink
Your color is puce green instead of icky pink!
(Oh, and I’ll tell you with much glee
I got them to throw the pattern in for free!)

:passedout: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

I also got you some stitch markers, all shiny and new
I wanted you to have enough, more than a few.
They come in their own designer bag
I’m sure I saw it in Vogue or some other mag
Oh, and if you recycle beer cans, they’re still in my trunk
I’d get them out, but I’m still drunk.

kblue- just a few more hours… lol

:chair:

Will you model it for us?

:roflhard:

:cheering: :cheering: :roflhard: :roflhard:

Oh my goodness!!!

What a riot this group is!!!

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

OMG–hilarious!!!

:roflhard:  Too funny!

:cheering: :roflhard:

GENIUS! :roflhard: :roflhard:

I also thought a lot about knitted item care
And how washing machines can sometimes cause a scare.
So I researched ways from knitters past
To find how to make washing knits a blast
There was one thing they could suggest
A novel approach, but worked the best
Terribly expensive and difficult to get
(I hear Elizabeth Zimmerman has a set)
So when you wash your knits be thee sweaters or socks
Make good use of your set of rocks.
Alright, okay, I hear the groans.
Yes, technically they are not rocks-they’re stones.

Many people have idolized
The way I keep my stash organized
No yarn on the floor, no yarn on the bed
No yarn on the table as the family is being fed
I keep my stash handy and neat
(As much as I’ve got thats an incredible feat!)
So I thought I’d share my method with you
I went to several stores and the time just flew!
So when your stash gets unruly and the hubby nags
Make use of your handy grocery bags!

Secret KNitter
YOu are so funny :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

and cruel :teehee: :teehee: :teehee:

It won’t be long now KBLUE~

Oh this is just to funny. Kblue you did such a good thing and we all had so much fun and now we are all torturing you!!!

Well hopefully you will get your package today and the torture will end!!!

Lynn

I’ll tell you one last thing thats in your box.
Its a yarn perfect for socks.
Its black and will go with everything
And it will keep your feet warm in Autumn and cool in Spring
Lovely yarn you say? It comes from where?
Is it wool or angora or goat hair?
No, this yarn comes not from llama or yak
This very rare fiber came off someones back!

Enjoy!
