Awesome!

SecondLife is a growing community of developers and visitors. The visitors are much like the gatherings in other interactive game worlds like WOW and Everquest, with the exception that ANYBODY can become a developer in SecondLife and actually earn an income. My daughter is one of these gifted individuals. Look up Sylver Bu and Okarthel (Google search links). Sylver Bu is my daughter’s in-world avatar and Okarthel (Dragonspeak word for ā€œHOMEā€) is her "sim"ulator. She actually earns income on SecondLife designing the equivalent of mascot-type mythical creature avatars that people purchase with the in-world currency called LindenDollars. LindenDollars can be converted to real-world currency which she has been doing for two years now.

That’s a little of SecondLife in a nutshell.

Oi vai! I did not understand any of this :?? It’s like when my BF starts talking to me about alphabet soup of programing :whoosh: However, I am sure you are very proud of her and I really do congratulate you and her for being such smartie pants

LOL. I didn’t understand it well either, but I’m going to check it out – maybe learn something new!
