Daphne sweater/cardigan

Hello

I am attempting to start Daphne short sleeve cardigan by Elisebeth Lavold- Published in : Designer’s Choice Book Eight: The Enchanted Garden Collection.

The instruction to start is cast on w/ smaller needles (103) -my size/ and work horizontal lace border beginning on row 2. Change to larger needles and knit 1 row (increasing 1 st at center (104)

My question is, do I knit rows 1-6 and then change to a larger needle and knit the row increasing then to 1 extra stitch?

Thank you

Cute cardigan

I’m not sure I understand your question.
When you change to the larger needle you will increase 1 stitch in the centre of the row.

If this wasn’t your question I’m sure someone else will be able to help.

Thank you. I appreciate your reply.

As I read it and from looking at the photo in the link above, yes. Complete the lace edging then change to the larger needle and make your increase. The smaller needle or the edging should/might help prevent it flipping. :crossed_fingers:
