Curling on circulars. fairisle pattern

Hi all, more of a query really but I am doing my first fairisle and being very careful about the floats, making sure I space the stitches on my right needle but I’m not sure on the tension, the knitting is kind of curling on the needles … would I be better trying to loosen more on the tension or at this early stage going up a needle size???

Any help I would be very grateful, thanks for taking the time.

Stockinette has a strong tendency to curl, fair isle or not. That is probably what’s happening here. Give it another couple of inches and you should see the curl lessen. If you see puckering or loose sts at that point you may have to adjust your tension on the floats.
