After few years in drawer ( 6 ) my WIP is finally done. Tablecloth is made with #10 aunt Lydia thread and bruges lice crochet technique.
It is just finished and already “quality control” checked😻

This lace tablecloth defines awesome. It’s magnificent and has had the seal of approval during the entire process.
Stunning work! I love the calico kitty too.
Ty guys so much, encouraging and all positive vibes from this forum gets me going. This tablecloth have two different schemes, one finishes like mine and second one has two more sections. Something to think about but I doubt that even this one will be used.
Yes Salmonmac nothing go thru without Summers checking. She have to see and sniff everything than she walk away.
Stunning!
Just perfection on a table. It has to be used or at least displayed (with Summer’s approval). I’d be tempted to wrap it around my shoulders and wear it.
This looks so neat - and “QC” is the cutest inspector!
Absolute perfection! Well done, you!
Ty all so much
You did a splendid job with this lovely tablecloth. Makes me wish I had a round table so I could justify making one. I know these things take a while to make, but they are so worth the effort once done. I agree with others — it needs to be displayed.
Thank you. I enjoy making it, it looks complicated if you don’t know technique. Crocheted just 4 dc with 5 chain on beggining make long ribbon that it is swirling and connecting per scheme to previous rows.
Easy for you to say! It still looks very complex yet expertly worked. Mmm-mmm.
It’s gorgeous! Definitely worth the wait!
Wow, that is so beautiful. I am in awe of your skills xx
Thank you, this technique is not hard once you tried only need to pay attention to the scheme.
Agree with you. The stitches are common and easy. The only tricky bit is joining to the right element, so you still have to pay attention.
Yes Lihn, exactly why I love to do that technique, simple but difficult no time to be bored.
Beautiful!
