Hi ladies,

I’ve started knitting round neck cardigan for 3 - 6 months old baby. After finishing rib band and asked to use 4mm needle and knit in St St until work measures 3 and a 1/2 inches ending on wrong side.

Do I measure 3 and 1/2 inches from start of ribbing or start of the St St?

Pattern is “Hayfield make prettier babies” 7062 and pattern No.12.

Hope I’ve made some sense.

Generally it will mean to measure from the cast on edge. If it seems to short, you can make it a little longer.
