I am confused working the hood.
It says pick up 5sts,16 side neck sts, 11 back sts., etc.
I can’t figure the 16 side neck sts.
Can’t see where to pick these up.
Calculating after neck shaping I can’t see it.

When you shaped the front neck there were 10 center sts at the front then one stitch was bound off every other row 6 times at the neck edge on each side. This leaves the neck opening. For the hood, the sleeves are joined to the front and back at the raglan lines.
The place to pick up the 16sts is along the row ends at the neck edge and the top of the sleeve.
