I have the 77 stitches ready to start collar,
Then the next row makes no sense for that amount of stitches?
1st Row: K2, P2 7 times; K1, P1 10 times; K1; P2, K2 7 times.
I’m stuck here. Would appreciate any help?

Hello
The punctuation is tricky on this, i find a bracket more obvious than a comma and semi colon between instructions.
This works
(K2, P2) 7 times = 28
(K1, P1,) 10 times = 20
K1; = 1
(P2, K2) 7 = 28
28+20+1+28=77 sts
Hope this helps
Omigosh, you are such a help, obviously math is not my strongpoint? I was ready to quit altogether and can now finish the cardigan for my granddaughter. Thank you so much.
You’re very welcome. Sometimes a comma or semicolon or other punctuation can be overlooked, I do it myself too.
We would love to see a pic of your finished sweater if you like sharing.
