Cirular needle help

newbie here…i’ve heard that knitting only (no purling) on
circular needles produces a stockingnet stitch. true or false
thanks for any input

If you join your work and knit a ‘tube’ on circular needles, then yes, you only need to do the knit-stitch to produce stockinette stitch.

If you dont join your work and just knit back and forth with turning, its like using normal straight needles and youll end up with garter stitch :slight_smile:
