ok, so i’m not intelligent…but cananyone help???
when a pattern calls for a certain lenght circular needle (say, 24")…is that measured from needle end to needle end?
and…i’m going to go review (again) the videos on knittinghelp.com for using circular needles…but how does one place and use a marker?
thanks so much!

Tip to tip.
A marker is just a ring of metal, or plastic, or yarn, and you slip it on the needle. When you get to it, just slip it from one tip to the other. It works kind of like a bookmark.
thank you so much! i’m very nervous about trying circular knitting…never used the circular needles as intended <g>…

They’re a breeze–no switching hands, just knitting and knitting.
