Hi Ladies,
I’m working on the Marsan Watchcap from the free pattern section. The twisted rib looks great and I think my husband will be very happy. Here’s the link to the pattern:

Problem is, I can’t figure out how to make the turn at row 23. When I follow the instructions as given, the work is turned and my next stitch is a knit, but the yarn comes from between the last two stitches on my right needle. Is this the way it is supposed to be? I am concerned that the yarn is coming from a strange place and I’m not sure if the last stitch on the right needle was ever worked.
Here are the instructions from the pattern:
Turn, accomplished like this: Purl the last stitch on the round, bring yarn to the back of the work, slip one stitch from the left needle to the right one, bring yarn to the front of the work, slip the stitch back to the left needle. Push your knitting through the middle of the needles, make sure your yarn is in back of the work, ready to knit the first stitch of the new round. Now your knitting is turned around, and what was the inside of the hat is now the outside.
Does anyone have another explanation of how to do this?
Thank you!
