The stockings have been a lot of work so far. Just choosing the right yarn took over a month. Then I did a gauge swatch, and was sure that size 5 needles would work well for me.
Oh well…I was WRONG. :roll:
I had to cut off all that chart knitting, because it was CLEARLY too large. The stocking would have been way off.
So, in the trash went all that knitting. :pout:
I changed to size 3 needles, and started the charts all over again.
It’s not easy doing intarsia knitting. Those color changes are a HASSLE!
But, I was determined to finish the chart knitting on at least ONE of the stockings this weekend. Crossed Fingers
So, I stuck in there, and got it done! :cheering:
They match PERFECTLY!!!
