Christmas Blues

 Thanks for asking!
It’s 10 AM Christmas Day here. Once Christmas gets here I am always fine. DH got me a MP3 player (I’m the last living being to not have one) so am downloading music.

I got to see my grandbaby via web cam early this morning, which was delightful and so far (knock on wood) ambulance has been quiet. DH is off playing a new Wii game and it’s starting to snow.

Whew, survived another holiday!

I would mail you some Nat but I don’t think they travel well. My son made some really terrific ones using peanut oil to fry them, go figure. Hope it stays quiet for you Ginny.

Ginny I’m glad you had a nice Christmas…I think you were so blue because you were not getting enough sleep I’m a firm believer in getting 8 hours a night.I was a nurse(before blessed retirement) and I ended up working 3-11 shift because I could not get enough sleep working dayshift.About those MP3 players…I would be the last living person not to have one…probably forever 'cos they’re not on any of my lists.I’d rather have yarn…or chocolate…or both!!!

Unfortunately things got busy about noon and have stayed that way but that’s ok, makes the day go fast. We planned on steak for dinner KNOWING it would cook quick and the EMS Gods were with us cause we got dinner cooked and eaten before the pager went off.
DH was playing way too much Wii anyway:teehee: (he’s my ambulance driver)

I’m with ya. Christmas hasn’t been the fun and happy Christmas for since 2005. Had a freak accident that gave me a very painful condition for the rest of my life…i dont need to bring anyone down so I won’t explain. Just want you to know your not the only one

Gosh, I’m sorry heather… I am actually very blessed. I just get a tad ā€œblueā€ around the Holiday. I hope your day had something bright in it.
