Chart reading question

I think I know the answer, but I need confirmation on this one. Knitting charts are read left to right, right to left, left to right, and so forth, correct?

The right side of the knitting is read right to left, the wrong side from left to right.

The chart should tell you which side is right and which is wrong. Usually, but not always, the odd rows are the right side.

Well, someone posted a link to this skull in the pattern section. I want to make something with it, but there’s not really much in the way of directions. :teehee:

With that kind of chart, it really doesn’t make a difference, as long as you’re consistent. Make the odd rows the front and the even rows the back just to make it easy to keep track.

Heh, well, just to make it more difficult on myself I’m doing it as double knitting. But I figured as long as I read it left to right, right to left, or whatever, it’d be cool.

And by the way, you are so helpful. :notworthy: Do you just hang around here at all hours being helpful?

:rofling: Yeah, that’s me. I have no life.

Don’t we all? :roflhard:
