Changing the gauge?

I’m going to knitt this lovely vest from a pattern I bought at my LYS but my gauge is way of. 28st/4" rather than the 20 I’m supposed to have.

Now I think I saw a site somewhere that would help you figure out how to change the pattern and did all the annoying math for you XD :roflhard: . Anyone know what I’m talking about?

Also, just changing needlesize wouldn’t work, the yarn is so thin that bigger needles wold change the effect a lot :thinking:
