Hi,
I know this is simple, but, for some reason I can’t remember how to change from double point needles to circular needles. Could someone explain this again to me?

To switch to circular needles you can just use the circular as the extra double point and as you empty a needle just keep knitting on to the circular for each of the dpns. Remember to mark the start of the round as you do the switch over. Good luck.
Believe it or not, that’s what I did, and I got into a mess. I don’t know what I did, but it didn’t work. Does it matter which needle you use–left side or right side?

Circs don’t have a right or left end until you put something on them. You just take one of the ends and start knitting with it.
If you’re referring to which end of the DPN, you would start on the “right” side. Just think of the circular as a really big DPN.
