Central Ontario?

Hello,
I’m a newbie to this site. I’m enjoying reading all the posts from other knitters. I’m self taught and have been knitting for aprox. 15 yrs. I’m always eager to learn and share with others. Anyone else live in Central/Southern Ontario?

I live just south of London Ontario.

Hi, my name is Beverly also, I live in Oshawa, Ontario

Hi, I am just west of Toronto, Ontario. Welcome to KH. I also am self taught and this site it teaching me soooo much. The people are friendly and very supportive.

Hmmm, maybe I posted in the wrong one. Being new to Canada, I’m not sure where exactly in Ontario I am. Anyways, I’m in Mississauga. Nice to have knitters near me

I’m in London, Ontario. For another month anyway,

I’m in Brantford! Hopefully just until April and then I’ll probably be moving up to Guelph.

My daughter works in Guelph. I am there several times a year at least. It’s a nice city and I think you will like it. Good luck with the move. I think there is one other knitter in here that lives in Guelph.

You are in the right area. As a matter of fact, I happen to live in the same city you live in now. Where were you from originally? Welcome to Canada and welcome to KH.

San Diego, California originally. The cold is a bit of a shock to my system, as I’m not quite used to it. I’ve never seen snow before either, so the flurries we had the other day were fun to watch. I’ve been dying to find a yarn supply store somewhere other than Michaels or WalMart in the area and have had no luck. I’m not a fan of ordering online, as I like to see and touch what I’m buying. Do you have any ideas or recommendations?

I’m a bit farther away, in Windsor. I lived in Oakville for a year for college in 02/03 Spent alot of time in Mississauga when we went out since Oakville had little more than a Walmart and Canadian Tire at the time. lol.

Hi there Ontario Knitters!

I’m originally from Toronto but moved further North 4 yrs ago. Anytime I’m back in Toronto I go to a lovely yarn shop off the Danforth ( can’t remember the name) but it’s between Main and Woodbine on the north side I believe…it has the best yarns and the staff have helped me many a time to figure out a difficult pattern.

I 'm currently knitting a bright red 'Fishtail Lace ’ scarf for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I’ll post a pic when i’m done.
