Hi! I am a newbie knitter and am a bit stuck on something that is probably very easy…I am knitting the sleeve for a baby cardigan and my pattern says ‘cast off 3 stitches, work to last 3 stitches, cast off 3 stitches’. I can’t work out how to cast off the last 3 stitches in the row - I tried but stuffed it up and ended up re-knitting the whole sleeve again! Any help on how to cast off 3 stitches at the end of a row would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, Just work to the end of the row knitting those 3 sts, turn to the back side (WS) and cast off from the beginning of this row. Patterns usually ask you to ‘cast off x amount of sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows’, some patterns just like to be awkward lol.
