Carding Issue?

Ah, Majin wool…a dream to spin…should of kept her…Better than any other breed I’ve spun.
And this is when spinning from just the tuffs started.

I’m bowled over! So much work and such bountiful production. The hat, mitts and wool pony are just terrific.

Been a long time.
Last year, I kept the Corriedale fleece and the Corriedale×Babydoll fleece. This year, sold the Corriedale ewe, so kept the mix fleece. Then a black Corriedale×Babydoll and then a few Babydoll fleeces.
All have been washed now. 3 still drying.
Should of used the canner net to wash chunks of locks vs altogether. Ah well.
Forgot how labor intensive brushing it is! Using picks to do it on Babydoll wool, too short to really flick ends and spin. Will have to quickly card it afterwards to create rolags. Need to finish a blanket I started from Babydoll core spun yarn. Doesn’t look like I posted about that. Made the loom myself, they don’t really make them that large and either way, they’re insanely expensive.
It used up a whopping 800 feet of all of my black/grey yarn, still not enough.

It is an impressive amount of work with yet more to come. Thank you for the reminder of where all that lovely yarn comes from and all the effort that goes into producing it.
