Car seat blanket

hi everyone i am new to this :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

i am a knitter anyway but i am now after a knitting pattern for a baby car seat blanket with a hole in the middle for the harness buckles,
please please please can someone help me i have looked everywhere, would love to knit one of these for my new niece/nephew when they arrive

I think you could adapt any blanket pattern you like.
Work to desired size, and place large button hole where you need the buckle slit to be.

Okay, here’s the pic. It will be the rainbow blanket in this photo array.

I forgot to add that the size 10 needle is an American size. For the UK, this would be a 6mm. Sorry I can’t help you out with the dimensions. I fell asleep in math class when they were talking about metrics. lol 2.54 centimeters equals one inch, right?

Blanket dimensions: 21 inches (53.3 cent) by 26 inches (66 cent). Distance to first slot: 12 1/2 inches (31.8 cent). Distance to second slot: 2.54 centimeters. Distance from second slot to blanket cast off: 12 1/2 inches (31.8 cent).
