Can you recommend a Bulky or Super Bulky yarn you like?

I want to use an acrylic Bulky or Super Bulky yarn for a wedding gift for my niece. Problem is, when I look on Ravelry about different yarns, the comments don’t make me want to run out and buy them.

So far, nobody on Ravelry likes Mary Maxim’s Titan yarn or Loops & Threads Charisma from Michael’s craft store. A few of them liked Lion Brand’s Wool Ease Thick & Quick.

Got any acrylic bulky or super bulky yarn you especially like to work with and would recommend???

I currently knitting a blanket with Lion Brand Hometown USA - which i’m pretty sure is super bulky. It’s alright and reasonably inexpensive, but the blankent is a bit stiff and not as soft as I would like (I’m hoping that blocking will help a little, but with acrylic i’ve heard it won’t be much). I’ve seen Bernat Soft and Cozy Blanket yarn in Joann’s, but they only had 2 colours (red and brown) and I have not been able to find much more about it online.

I love Knit Picks [COLOR=“Red”]Brava Bulky[/COLOR]. It is soft and comes in boatloads of great colors. Inexpensive too.

Thanks to all! I just ordered the Brava Bulky today in their Umber Heather color. I ordered enough to use 3 strands together AND make it a little longer than the pattern.

PLUS the grand total was under $60 with FREE shipping!!!

I also use Wool Ease Thick & Quick.

I LOVE it!! Especially the ones with sparkles. :aww:
