I just started to knit my first Booga Bag. I am using Patons 100% Pure Wool in a multi color. Its a “medium” weight yarn.
I cast on the 34 rows like the pattern says. Plus I am using the 10 1/2 size knitting needles like suggested. I notice there is no gauge to check out before starting this pattern.
Anyway, I got to where I am knitting in the round and the bag is a bit smaller than I would want it and its not even been felted yet!!
So how can I knit this and make it big so it will felt and shrink and be the size it is now?? In other words, if I keep this up it will be a tiny bag after felted.
Do I need to use larger needles or is my yarn weight all wrong? I have felted three other bags with Noro yarns which I love but I really wanted to use a different wool on this pattern.
I appreciate any help!
