I was grateful for all of the PMs… that is actually the method we prefer for notifying us of spammers… I worry that a thread in a public forum only calls attention to it.
I also deleted the “member”, and banned the email addy and IP addy.
Amy and Sheldon are working on finding an additional registration step of some sort… they already have protections against “spambots” but the latest scourge seems to be individuals who have nothing better to do with their time. :!!!:
I apologize for the few times that we are unable to get to these annoyances right away. I agree that this is frustrating for everyone here. Im grateful for all of the members that PMd me… those who care so much about the community environment here and want to keep the nonsense out. 
Well, i don’t know if it’s that they actually have nothing better to do. I was recently disgusted with my sister for finding out she had taken a paying job, to do just that, log into places and post spam!! People actually get paid for it, but i can’t see how anyone with a conscience can do it, pay or not… children use these sites after all (well, youngins anyway).
