Can someone walk me through binding off

I’m making the buttonhole bag and I’m at the part where I bind off x number of stitches to make the handle. I’ve adjusted the pattern because there were some flaws and the next step is to

k10 BO11 K10

So I’ve K10 then do I knit another, knit another, then passed the first knitted stitch over?

Or

Do I knit 1, pass the last knitted stitch from K10, and continue this way until there is 10 left before the marker?

I’ve never done this before, and I don’t know how to reverse binding off and I’d rather not try to tell you the truth.

This one. After you bind off 11, the one left on your needle counts as one of the final 10.
