Can someone help me understand a row?

I am knitting this beautiful sweater…

Just where the midriff section begins the directions say this:
Next row (RS): K1, work Row 1 of twisted fine lace over next 112 sts. end K1.
Now here are the directions FOR that “twisted fine lace” row…
Row 1(RS): K1,k* YO, SSK, K8 rep from* end K1.
MY QUESTION IS THIS: In the directions about telling me to knit the"twisted lace" row it says K1. But it also says to K1 in the row directions already. So am I to K1 then K1 again as stated in the directions row? Also do I end with K1 and then K1 again at the end of the row.?
I appreciate any help you can give me.

Yes, you should knit the 2 sts on the edges or it wouldn’t have said to; probably for seam stitches, so they’re outside the lace pattern.

I say yes also. They say to work the twisted fine lace over the next 112 stitches, and if you look at the instructions for this stitch, it is worked on a multiple of 10 + 2 stitches. If you don’t knit the k1 and k1 at the end, you wouldn’t get 112 stitches, but 110.
