Can I use an alternative to Sirdar Snuggly Baby bamboo DK

Hi folks,

As the title suggests I am looking for advice re: making a substitution for Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo. I am about to start the Fairisle pattern in the link below

I have some Patons Smoothie DK but I’m not sure if this is a good substitution for this pattern?? I am still a novice at this and advice would be gratefully recieved

As long as your gauge is correct, I think any yarn would work for this sweater.

Both are DK weight and knit at 22sts/4 inches and on the same size needles. The Patons should be a good substitute. Adorable sweater pattern, btw!
