Can I possibly fix this run w/o frogging?

Here http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/kts-816AD.htmlis the pattern measurements I’m following for a hooded baby cardigan but have altered the pattern so I’m doing the following cable on a background of reverse st st with the following pattern (multiples of 5):
-Row 1 (right side): slip next 3 sts onto cable needle & hold to back of work, K2 from left needle, K3 from cable needle
-Row 2 and all wrong side rows: P5
-Row 3: K5
-Row 5: K2, (K, P, K, P, K) all in next st, pass second, third, fourth, & fifth sts on right needle over first st, K2
-Row 7: K5
-Row 8: P5
Repeat Rows 1-8 for pattern.

Now, here’s my question. I’ve just noticed a dropped stitch that is causing a run on the back of the sweater right in the middle of one of the bobbles. I have already b/o the back as well as picked up and knit the hood. Is there any way I can fix this run w/o frogging? (Please, for the sake of my sanity, say there is…) Much TIA!!!

That stinks!
How far down is the run? If it’s not too far you could catch it and bring it back up with a crochet hook.
Maybe someone else has a different suggestion.

It’s about 2" from the b/o neck edge.

Bring it up as far as you can, then tie off on the inside.

If you are still not happy with the appearance at the end, you might like to try some duplicate stitch, but remember that most likely no-one else can see the problem!

Thanks to all - I think I may try suzeeq’s & kbagel’s suggestions, and redwitch, I think you’re right. I’m probably the only one that would know. Especially b/c of the placement of it. I’m pretty sure that once I fix it (I’ll prob. take it to the neck edge to make it neater…) & tie it off it’ll blend right in to the cable. Cross your fingers!
