Campfire Cozy pattern by Espace Tricot

Can anyone share this pattern with me? Ravelry says its a free pattern. But even after googling it, reddit, and everything else, I still cannot figure out how to download it. Thanks so much. It really seems like a very relaxing pattern to knit. Thanks again.

Great looking and well-named shawl!

It seems to only be free with the purchase of yarns for the pattern at Espace Tricot.
It’s also available in a book of shawls available for purchase from the same source.

Unfortunately we can’t share patterns on the forum due to copyrights.

I don’t see anywhere on Ravelry that it says it’s free. It gives a price in CAD…and it seems that you could buy the whole e-book of 10 patterns for the same price as the Campfire Cozy, which seems like a good deal if you like even one of the other patterns.

Did it come up with “free” as a search term or filter? In that case, you could report it to Ravelry at the link to “Report a problem with this page”.

Yes ColoCro, it came up free. Even if you google it, it says Free on Ravelry. Thanks for responding.

There are quite a few campside campfire camp named projects, it might have been this one you saw as free on ravelry when you googled it

The campfire cozy result in google has a price shown.
The name is a bit confusing.

Thank you salmonmac. I only asked because I thought perhaps initially it was free. The Amazing Knitting website still says it’s free (https://www.amazingknitting.com/2020/11/campfire-cozy-shawl-free-knitting.html). But no worries. I could not find the free download button, so I was simply asking the community. Thanks for the info. I’m new to the website, so I am not yet familiar with what I can say or not. But I’m good. So no worries. Much thanks again.

It might have been free for a limited time. Some pages (i see a lot of result in images facebook and pinterest) aren’t updated so would still say free when it no longer is. Or rather it is free if you buy the yarn.

Hope you find an alternative you like if you decide not to go for it.

Thanks Creations for responding to my inquiry. But no, Campfire Cozy by Espace Tricot is the free pattern I was searching for. I had also saved it in my favorites on Ravelry. So I am quite positive of the correct one. “Free” may have meant what one of the members said, with purchase of the yarn, it might be free.

Yes, of course. Must thanks again for such great interest in the community to help me resolve this issue.

That Amazing Knitting website seems a bit suspicious. I thought I’d let them know that pattern isn’t actually free on Ravelry, and tried the Contact button, which links to a FB page where one can neither post nor message the page owner.

Thanks for following up. Seems pretty sketchy to me too.

WoW! Thanks for the tip ColoCro.

Thanks for letting me know, salmonmac. Just don’t know who to trust these days. So happy it’s not a “must have” for me. Just thought it would be fun since it was advertised as free. Thanks much again.
