Cable Socks KA Anyone?

:hug:Absolutely, welcome!!! I haven’t even started mine yet. I hate it when I start a KA and then don’t do the project! Yikes!

But will DEFINITELY do it this weekend. Think I’ll do toe-up since I don’t know if my KnitPics is enough for longer socks.

OK, THISis the one I want to make. As soon as I get the pattern!
:muah:

This is the one I’m going to do.

I’ve started the Kaylee socks: http://www.socktopia.net/monkeytoes/kaylee.pdf
:woot:

I just realized I’ve been doing my ssk’s wrong though…I’ve been ss-ing purl-wise rather than knit-wise!!! Oh well, glad I finally learned!
:thud:

better late than never! :teehee:
i hope you realized that before you started your socks, or at least in time to do them the “right” way.

Well, I did one 6-row repeat the wrong way. And I did ALL the ssk’s wrong on my Rainy Day Socks, but I think it turned out ok.

okay?!? i think they turned out great!!

have you done enough beyond the first repeat to be able to notice if it makes a difference or not?

No starting 2nd repeat now. I’ll know by tonight.

good luck!!!

I have to delay my start :frowning: I have an Oct 1 deadline on a quilt. I didn’t realize at the time the deadline was Oct. 1 and I also didn’t realize it was so close to Oct!!! Back to fabric…

As a quilter myself I feel for you  I love knitting because I can take it anywhere. BTW, I’m destashing some vintage quilt mags if you know anyone that might be interested. I’m going to put them on eBay, not too many quilters on KH

…gulp… you have a LOT of QNM. I will ask how much you want for them, but I’m kind of afraid of the answer…

Yes, please tell me how much you want for the Quilters Newsletters…

PMed you about this.
