Cable cardigan: increase and stay in pattern

I am working on cable pattern cardigan. On the sleeve I increase one stitch at beginning and end of rows one and five (same pattern row). But how do I determine what to do with these new stitches on other knit rows to remain in pattern? even rows are purl.
Row 1 and 5: K2. K2tog. yo. K6. * yo. Sl1. K1. psso. K1. K2tog. yo. K6. rep to last 4 sts. yo. Sl1. K1. K2.)
Row 3: k1. K2tog. yo. *K8. yo. Sl1. K2tog. psso. yo. repeat to last 11. K8. yo. Sl1. K1. psso. K1.
Row 7: K1. K2tog. yo. *K1. C6b. K1. yo. Sl1. K2tog. psso. yo. Rep to last 11 sts. K1. C6B. Kl. yo. Sl1. K1. psso. K1

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

You can either stay in stockinette, or when you’ve got enough increase stitches, add the cable pattern. Really a matter of preference.

thanks for your help. I think I will try to continue cable when I have enough increases.
