Cable Bramble Afghan

This is the afghan I’ve been working on for the past 2 1/2 months! I made it for a fundraiser for the Maine Adaptive Ski Program…the auction is on Friday, 10/15/10!!! Nervewracking weekend trying to finish on time…

It measures approx. 54" x 65" and is made with Bernat Berella “4” on #8 needles. Border is the bramble stitch, aka, popcorn stitch, raspberry stitch, etc. Color is actually a deep navy and very difficult to photograph. Date should read 10/12/2010.

Have never worked on a project that seemed so endless…

That’s a really ambitious project and it turned out really, really nice.

It’s GORGEOUS!

did you do it in panels, or all in one piece?

Congratulations!

That’s gorgeous, Judy!!

All in one piece…starts out with 258 stitches, then decrease of 3 stitches, for 255 stitches on one needle. When it got heavy I put a straight chair in front of me to support the weight.
