Bulky Men's Cardigan (Vintage pattern)

Good Afternoon,

I am having difficulty understanding this pattern. I have completed the back piece and both sleeves but am having a hard time with the two fronts. I am currently working on the right front. I am at the shaping of armhole and neck;
Dec 1 st at armhole edge same as for back every other row 27 times; at the same time, then total length for both sides is 18.5", dec 1 st at neck edge every other row 8 times, then every 4th row 10 times, on every other row twice. Bind off remaining 2 sts.
The back decrease instructions are as follows: K3, k the 3rd st on the left-hand needle without slipping it off needle, k 1st and 2nd sts tog and sl all 3 sts off left-hand needle, work to last 6 sts. Sl next st onto a dpn and leave in front of work; k next 2 sts tog, k st from dpn, k last 3 sts.
I understand most of the armhole and neck decrease except for the last part. I am fine until; then every 4th row 10 times, on every other row twice.

This is a bulky sweater with raglan sleeves. So far the decreases for the back piece are understandable for me. As I am on the front piece and the above notes are the only decrease instructions for the armhole edge would I then just knit 2 tog after the ribbing at the neck edge to decrease? Also, I am assuming that instead of knitting as per the back piece decrease I would be purling as this is a purl row.

Welcome!
What is the name of the pattern?
Work the same kind of dec on the armhole edges as for the back. For the neck edge, a simple k2tog or ssk would probably work unless you can see a different dec in the photo.
Dec at the armhole edge every other row, 8 times. That would be on rows, 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 and 15. Then dec on rows 19, 23,27,31,35,39,43,47,51 and 55. Dec on rows 57 and 59. All of these can be on knit rows if this is stockinette stitch.

Good Morning,

Thank you so much for your reply! The name of the pattern is Shawl Collar Bulky Cardigan Vintage. I purchased it on Etsy through Lynnofthewoods (Momentsintwine). https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/533657972/shawl-collar-bulky-cardigan-vintage?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=bulky+men%26%2339%3Bs+cardigan+pattern+moments+in+twine&ref=sr_gallery-1-15&organic_search_click=1

Great looking! It’s hard to see the decreases at the neckline but going with a simple k2tog or ssk will work fine.
