Hi my LYS Arcadia Knitting (1613 W. Lawrence, Chicago, IL. 60640, 773 271 1211 www.arcadiaknitting.com) is having a book signing and reading for Franklin Habit’s book “It Itches: A Stash of Knitting Cartoons” ( I’ve heard the book also includes essays) on October 26, 2008. The book was published in mid October so this is one of the first chances to buy it. If you do want to buy a copy it my understanding that you should contact Arcadia Knitting (see info above) to reserve a copy. Interweave Press listed the purchase price at $12.50. Doors open at 12:00 p.m., the reading is at 1:00 p.m. and I’ve heard through the grapevine that there will be door prizes. BTW I don’t profit from this in anyway I just thought I’d share all the info I could.
