I read it and quite enjoyed it. I believe a movie is being made of it.
Itās checked out at my library and Iām next in line to get it. Oh, no, you cried at the end? I thought someone told me it was a suspense novel. Maybe I got it mixed up with those āFriday Night Murder Clubā books⦠:roflhard:
I read it when it first came out. I loved it and I cried at the end too⦠it really suprised me.
I havent read it, there were like 20 copies at my library, all out!, but just saw the audiobook is on sale this week at Costco for ~$11.00ā¦
I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Look there is even a website for it.

Loved it. Iām a member of their message board
The adapted movie is expected to be released 6 June 2008.
I read this book and The Knitting Circle. They were both good for pulpy entertainment, I finished each one in less than a day.
Of the two I preferred The Knitting Circle, but I really didnāt care for either book for a bunch of reasons. The website is cute though and the recipe for the muffins sounds yummy!
I saw this book at Target, but I didnāt pick it up.
Was that audiobook unabridged? It might be worth checking out in that formatā¦
:waah: Iām just finished this one.
Yes I have read it and yes I cried too!!
Iāve looked at this a few times in the store, but it really didnāt appeal to me. But, I love a book that makes me cry, so maybe Iāll have to get this after all.
I got it from the library a couple months ago. I tried reading it and found it a little boring, so I took it back. Then my mother bought the book, read it, and gave it to me. I started it again and actually enjoyed it the second time around. I thought the first chapter or two was a little slow though.
Honestly, I didnāt like it. It was predictable and the main character was completely unlikable. Basically a weekend worth of reading time wasted.
I just finished the book last night at 3:30 AM. I liked it for what it was, a quick easy read with the theme being a hobby I enjoy a lot. The book made me feel good about the hobby and how it can affect others. I know needlework has had a big impact on my life and the lives of others I know and love. I found the book verified my feelings and left me with the feeling that we should appreciate and enjoy our lives, no matter what is dealt to us and knitting can enhance that appreciation and enjoyment.
I enjoyed it and if this author comes out with any others I will be sure to read it.
Happy knitting
