Bobble help!?!

I have spent so much time trying to figure this out! I am working on a bobble worked over 2 sts in an aran pattern. The directions read:

(k2, turn, p2, turn) twice; then, knitting each stitch of bobble together with it’s corresponding stitch on first row of bobble.

All directions re. bobble I can find involve making add’l stitches off of 1, and the way I read it that’s not what happens here?

I have no problem creating the 2 st wide, 4 st long bobble, but I don’t understand the last sentence’s instructions. When I tried to do what it said, I ended up with 2 extra sts on my right needle.:shrug:

You pick up the stitch from the first row of the bobble, and then work a knit 2 together, knitting the bobble stitch, and the stitch from the first row together. Then do the same with the second. Does that make any sense?

Okay, yes that was helpful… thinking in terms of picking up the stitch and then k2tog fixed my error. The bobbles look cool, thanks for your help!
