BO--My So Called Scarf

I’m almost done with my scarf. This is the pattern:

 Row 1:  K1, *sl 1, K1, psso but before dropping the slipped stitch from the left needle, knit into the back of it* repeat until there is one stitch left, K1

 Row 2:  *P2tog, do not slip stitches off the needle, purl the first stitch again, slip both stitches off needle*

I just finished with Row 2 and think I need to begin BO before I run out of yarn. How would I do it with this pattern? or does it matter?

If you cast on at the beginning with just a regular cast on, it should be totally fine to just end with a knit bind off (or purl bind off if on the wrong side).
