Blocking Question

I’m making my first skirt and I was wondering how to block it. Any answers out there?

Thanks

This is just a guess, but if it’s meant to be snug from hem to waist, I’d block it gently/smaller - only to make the stitches bloom/relax - or not at all, because your body will stretch it slightly.
If it’s meant to be loose or have frills etc., I would block it exactly to size with lots of pins and a medium-strength blocking method for that fibre - so if wool, a fairly thorough spray - if alpaca, or silk, I think they’re more fragile and it’s usually recommended that it be lightly sprayed at most?

Again, just what seems logical to me, use your own judgement to evaluate what you think about the suggestions
