Blocking Mats

I was looking at purchasing some blocking mats, and reading reviews on Amazon some of them bleed onto your project
Can anyone suggest a brand or what to look for in mats. I’d prefer not to have transfer onto my project with a wet block

I got my blocking mats from KnitPicks and they are gray in color but have never bleed onto anything I have blocked on them. I bought two sets of them since I like to stretch my knits out and need a lot of room

I have blocking mats from Knit Picks and some from Knitter’s Pride. They’re fine for small things but don’t provide enough surface area for my shawls and to get enough to make up the size I need would be very cost prohibitive. I got some interlocking floor mat blocks that are each 18" square that work great for me. No bleeding but I did test the cheap floor mat blocks before risking my knits on it. I wet a cloth and laid it on the blocks until it dried.

I found interlocking floor mats that are 24" wide! Two packs of them cost about the same as one pack of “knitting” mats, and cover about twice the area. They don’t bleed at all. DIY stores should have them.
