Grrrrr… Badgers…we don’t need no stinking Badgers!!!

LOL Cheesetits - don’t know if I’d take that as a compliment or deck him
So anyway, Binky, you were saying…
blogjackers strike again…
Llama, llama, llama, llama, llama, llama. . . .duck!

OMG…the baby has been eaten by a head of leaf lettuce!! :roflhard:
or by a muppet :roflhard:
. . . . .or a strange algae!
Ok, the next thing that makes me go Hmmmm is the Yarntainer… i like the idea… but what holds me back is how once you pull your yarn through the lid and start knitting, the yarntainer is not part of that project until you’re either done, or you frog it…
what do you think? :??
And same with this…
Yarn Ball Holder
and…
Yarn Ball Bag
I don’t know about the rest of you, I ususally cut the yarn when I’m done with it.
Oh, by done I mean… putting your project down when for example… the firemen tell you to get out of the house, the light turns green, security escorts you from the building for knitting instead of working…
i cut the end when i’m done too…
dh went to mickey’s for breakfast… grrrmmbbllll… where is he with my McGriddle???
OK, well, if anyone cares… and I know you do… my computer has a nasty virus… It sounds a lot like what I think I saw on Glen’s “Ghost” post. I’m actually in Wisc. @ my brother’s house… and had to get my KH fix. DH had me push all my files to one folder and told me he’d try to offload stuff and reload and see if I can get back online. Our ISP is Qwest and they have never advertised spam or pop up blocking and even though I know we can get free downloads and such… we may switch to getting our DSL from the local cable company. We’ll see…
Anyhooo, on my way here, I had to stop at the Yarn Cafe in Maple Grove MN and dropped the last of my “disposeable” income… lol… on some Noro Kureyon (I want to start a Booga bag dammit!) I have to laugh cuz they know the stash issues people have…and they use clear bags for your purchase but offer opaque ones if you have “git it in da house covertly” needs. :roflhard:
My mom calls me several times when i’m on the road and she had the nerve to ask me “don’t you want to see your nephew?” when i told her i was making a rest stop (@ said yarn store). i said, “Whahh? he’s 8 months old… where is he going so fast? he doesn’t walk yet!”
I fondled the Alpaca mist chunky and dreamt of making a nice hat and scarf for winter… but i’m gonna research some patterns first…get fiber later. I have sooooo soooo much stash for things that i think "ooo, would this make a pretty… welll, something"
So, onto to surfing to see what’s new on my fave websites. Hopefully my computer will be better soon, damdable adware! Rorshach, my Dell is sick… :crying:
Ta ta for now!
Well if you wanted me to, I could connect to your computer and make an assessment, on how bad it was. if it wasn’t bad enough to warrant a reinstall, then I could probably help you clear that from here.
either let me know through email, PM or IM. I’ll get back to you ASAP. Of course all the other computer techs on here could help you as well.
Really? That would be ok? Like a side job? I wouldn’t want to get you in trouble…
I’ll check with DH to see if he’s had a chance to study it anymore. I’ll pm you on it when i get back to Fargo.
Meanwhile… I have tried starting a blanket for my other sil that is expecting their first baby in Nov. I have started it 5 times. I’m doing a simple “dishcloth” pattern only crib blanket size (is my intention) but something happens, I drop a yo or a stitch, can’t seem to rescue it and tink it all. I’m doing it in light yellow paton’s Be Mine and it’s just fuzzy enough to make it hard to see if a stitch is dropped and forget about trying to pick one up!
My nephew is 8 months old now and walking along furnitre… he is EXTREMELY interested my my knitting and the bags of goodies that come with it. My cat doesn’t bother my knitting as much as this kid! :roflhard:
I do so love to visit my brother and sil, i get to sleep in, watch tv, knit all i want… AND get to play with my nephew…who i might add is the cutest baby in (this part of) the world
How’s everyone else getting along? Feel free to lay it on me…
:waving: Enjoy your time to relax. And remember that babies exude all kinds of nasty stuff, so protect your yarn! :rofling:
Maybe for the blanket you should put in a lifeline now and then. This way you only have to frog back to a place that you know was correct if you drop a stitch or miss a yo.
Yeah, he already “exuded” on my pantleg  and I have become better at hoisting my project up above my head to finish that last stitch before he climbs me like Mt. Auntie-horn… oh how liberating it is when he goes to bed and the baby gate comes down. i almost took a nose dive climbing over it…luckily the fluffily filled knitting bag would break my fall…
And, this is a great way for me to see first hand what you can and cannot get away with when there’s a baby in the house…i have some serious work to do if we ever decide to have kids… whew!
lifeline is a great idea… better to learn now … thanks Ingrid! ![]()
Yup, it’d be no trouble. Gives me something to do besides sit on my thumbs.
I have to laugh cuz they know the stash issues people have…and they use clear bags for your purchase but offer opaque ones if you have “git it in da house covertly” needs.
:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:
How funny… I had to giggle at that… ![]()
